Zooey Deschanel: Reem Acra Adorable at the 2012 EMMY Awards
She’s always a sight to see, and on Sunday night (September 23) Zooey Deschanel had the red carpet buzzing as she arrived to the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
The “New Girl” actress left the others with envy as she donned a billowing blue Reem Acra gown for the Nokia Theatre LA Live held small screen celebration.
Taking care of hosting duties at this year’s Emmy Awards is late night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel while Zooey joining Jim Parsons in doling out a trophy while fellow presenters include names such as Claire Danes, Kerry Washington, Julianna Margulies, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Alec Baldwin and the beautiful Julianne Moore.
As for the nominees, HBO is the top network with 81 bids while “American Horror Story” and “Mad Men” are the show frontrunners with 17 chances at Emmy glory apiece.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Talks Dating Zooey Deschanel with Playboy
Fans have constantly brought up the idea of Joseph Gordon-Levitt dating his “500 Days of Summer” co-star Zooey Deschanel, but it appears that’s never going to happen.
In a recent interview with Playboy, “The Dark Knight Rises” star said, ““It’s awkward when people say that. Zooey and I just think it’s funny. We’ve been friends for 10 years.”
The 31-year-old actor continued, “She loves movies, music and art, and she’s incredibly knowledgeable about that stuff. She’s turned me on to so many good movies and so much good music. It’s just fun to have conversations, watch movies with her and stuff like that.”
The brunette beauty filed for divorce from Ben Gibbard last January and has been dating screenwriter Jamie Linden and although Joseph doesn’t see a future with her, he has set his standards for potential dates.
The Hollywood hunk told the publication, “Making checklists of things you’re looking for in a person is the numero uno thing you can do to guarantee you’ll be alone forever,” adding, “You just have to pay attention, keep your eyes open, listen to people and be present. I guess what I look for in a girl is someone who’s doing that too.”

Zooey Deschanel’s Budding Romance with Jamie Linden
After filing for divorce from her husband last December, it looks like Zooey Deschanel is on her way to finding love again!
The 32-year-old recently hit up the “Magic Mike” premiere after party in Hollywood, where she was holding hands and canoodling with a lucky special someone.
As for the lucky man, he has been revealed to be screenwriter Jamie Linden – who is known for writing scripts including “Dear John” and “We are Marshall.”
A source gushed to Us mag that Linden seems great for Deschanel, saying, “Jamie’s a really nice guy. He’s funny, and a little geeky. . .he’s into her!” At this point Deschanel’s rep has had no comment.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Zooey previously married Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard in 2009, but sadly separated just a few short years later while citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the marital demise.
