The Strange Case Of Katherine Jackson: Why Won’t Family Let Paris Talk To Her?

As Jermaine Jackson releases a statement saying that his ‘missing’ mother Katherine Jackson is actually fine and resting up in Arizona with her daughter Rebbie — it begs the question, why is the family keeping 14-year-old Paris Jackson away from the matriarch of the famous family?
The story is especially baffling because Katharine, 82, has been raising Michael’s three kids (Paris, Prince, and Blanket) following the singer’s shocking death in June 25, 2009. If anyone should know where Katherine was — and should be able to talk to her — it should be Paris who set off a firestorm this weekend when she tweeted: “yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now.”
Paris later tweeted a message asking anyone who’s seen her grandmother to call authorities or a number she posted. She later wrote, “the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother… just saying.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Los Angeles Police Department officials said late Sunday that Katherine was in fact safe, after her nephew Trent reported her missing a few days ago.
According to a report from the Today show on Monday, Katherine’s excursion to Arizona was planned in advance.
Jemaine released a statement decrying the public hysteria that sprouted out of earlier reports, adding his mother was ordered to “de-stress” on the trip and not answer the phone or check the computer. He added that no one’s access has been blocked to her.
Here is his full statement:
Let me put to bed today’s nonsense: as I made clear some days ago, Mother is safe and well in Arizona with her daughter and our sister, Rebbie, resting up on doctor’s advice, so it is beyond me how she can be reported “missing”.
This incredulous claim was made for reasons best known to the adult/s who filed it but it seems no accident that it comes after we, the sons and daughters, put in place care-taking for our own mother, taking her to Arizona in line with doctor’s advice following a check-up.
Furthermore, it dismays me that such an alarmist “missing person” report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michael’s children who will understandably react to what they misunderstand, hear or are told.
No-one is being “blocked” from speaking with Mother. She is merely an 82-year-old woman following doctor’s orders to rest-up and de-stress, away from phones and computers. Everyone has been well aware of this within the family, but I would like to reiterate my reassurance to the outside world that Mother is fine. In the meantime, thank you for all your thoughts and concerns.
Katharine, 82, has been raising Michael’s three kids (Prince, Paris and Blanket) following the singer’s June 25, 2009 death. Granddaughter Paris had tweeted earlier: “yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now.”
As we previously reported, Michael Jackson‘s ex-wife Debbie Rowe (the mother of his children Prince and Paris) was extremely concerned for Katherine Jackson and monitoring the situation, a source told us.
“She has tremendous respect and love for Katherine and is also concerned for the children and is angry that Paris has been unable to talk to Katherine for the past week,” the insider said.
Last week Katherine was blindsided after a letter from several of her children demanded their resignations of the executors of Michael’s estate, John Branca and John McClain (after three previous failed attempts).

The letter, allegedly from Janet, Rebbie, Tito, Randy, and Jermaine, demanded the executors resign immediately because they believe the late singer’s will was a fake. The letter also alleged that the executors’ manipulations left Katherine in bad health, having recently suffered a mini-stroke (Katherine has denied such).
The executors have strongly denied the charges in the letter and have substantially increased the value of the estate. Also as Radar first reported, the statute of limitations has run out on challenging the will.

While most scorned exes will take any opportunity to slam their former flame, Nicole Kidman continues to remain tight-lipped about ex-husband Tom Cruise’s recent split from Katie Holmes.
Sources tell FOX411’s Pop Tarts column that Kidman, who was married to Cruise for nearly 10 years before the actor filed for divorce and famously took their two children with him in the breakup, refuses to get involved in the divorce drama and is even going to the lengths of avoiding her pals – and RadarOnline.com has the details.

“Nicole won’t talk, wants her privacy, wants to be left out of this and they (she and Cruise) don’t speak much,” an insider dished. “Communication between her and Tom is very limited.”
The actress, who was stunned when Cruise filed for divorce in 2001 – only two months after they renewed their vows and shortly after Kidman reportedly miscarried their child – has kept a very low profile since Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise last week.

“Nicole really does not want to be dragged into this or say anything to anyone,” continued the source. “At some point though, she will probably be forced to say something, and she will most likely support Tom for the sake of their children.”
According to a shocking new report, after the dissolution of their marriage, members of the Church of Scientology turned Isabella and Connor Cruise against Kidman, calling her a “sociopath” and the actress has only recently reunited with her adopted daughter.

“I love mom,” Isabella recently told Australia’s New Idea magazine. “She’s my mom. She’s great. I see her sometimes [in Nashville] and I speak to her.”

Erin Andrews Leaves ESPN, Won’t Be Part Of DWTS All-Star Season

Don’t expect to see Erin Andrews as part of the Dancing with the Stars cast this fall. The sportscaster and 2010 DWTS competitor has left ESPN, ABC’s sister network, likely putting her out of the running to participate in the show’s All-Star edition premiering in September.

Chris Brown Won’t Be Charged Over Drake Nightclub Brawl

Chris Brown won’t be charged in connection with the nightclub brawl involving Drake and his entourage in New York City last week, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Multiple eyewitnesses have told cops that Drake started the melee in the early morning hours last Thursday by throwing a bottle directly aimed at him. A physical fight broke out between Drake and Chris’ entourages, with friends, bodyguards and innocent bystanders left bloodied and hurt. As evidenced by the exclusive photos obtained by RadarOnline.com, the club was virtually destroyed in the wake of the brawl. “There was blood all over,” an eyewitness said. “Both of their entourages got involved and it all got really out of control really fast. The club was unrecognizable afterwards!”

“Chris and [his girlfriend] have been interviewed by cops and at this point it looks very likely that neither Chris, nor Karreuche [Tran] will be charged with any criminal wrongdoing stemming from the nightclub brawl,” a source close to the singer tells RadarOnline.com. “Chris has been extremely cooperative and forthcoming with information to the investigating officers, which they are thankful for. Once the bottles started flying Chris did the right thing and just got the hell out of there. Cops have said they probably won’t need to interview Chris again, but if needed, he would be more than willing to do so.”
Meanwhile, Drake and his entourage are still possibly facing charges.

“Drake and his crew have no plans to talk to cops, and they are under no obligation to do so. However, the way the direction the investigation is heading there definitely will be criminal charges filed against the appropriate individuals,” a law enforcement source tells RadarOnline.com.
“Chris just wants to move on from all of this and focus on promoting his new album, Fortune. Chris is focused on his music and will lay low until the album drops on July 3,” the insider says.

Brown is currently on felony probation after assaulting then-girlfriend, Rihanna three years ago. It has been reported that the Barbadian-born beauty was the cause of the fight between Brown and Drake.
