Who are some of your favorite acoustic style female musicians?

I love playing the guitar and write my own stuff but for fun I like to do covers of other female musicians with a strong acoustic sound. Does anyone know of any great female musicians other than the main stream obvious ones (jewel, michelle branch, sheryl crow etc…)
