Sundance London Film and Music Festival Returns to O2 Arena in 2013 and 2014
Robert Redford, Sundance Institute and AEG Europe announced today that following the success of the first-ever Sundance London film and music festival in April 2012, the event will return to the world famous London venue, The O2, for a further two years, in 2013 and 2014. Passes and ticket packages for the 2013 event will go on general sale on 9 November at www.sundance-london.com.
The second Sundance London will take place from 25-28 April, 2013, and host the international and UK premieres of American independent films fresh from the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, U.S.A., as well as live music performances, panels and events. The 2013 programme will continue its 2012 focus on presenting new work by American filmmakers and music artists. Sundance Institute, which annually presents the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, U.S.A, will select the films and related programming.
The first Sundance London featured screenings of 27 films, including many European premieres, and performances by 17 musical acts. Highlights included the Royal Premiere of HARMONY: A New Way of Looking at Our World attended by HRH, The Prince of Wales; an intimate performance by Rufus and Martha Wainwright following the world premiere of Lian Lunson’s film about the music of their mother; the Opening Night event An Evening With Robert Redford And T Bone Burnett; Tricky and Martina Topley-Bird performing Maxinquaye; and screenings of 14 feature-length and eight short films from the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Audiences were also treated to several thought-provoking panels featuring industry experts and artists discussing topical film and music issues.

In a recent interview, J. Lo shared that taking her daughter Emme to a Chanel fashion show was not the best idea she’s ever had.
“From the time (Emme) was little she was always in the wardrobe trying something on. So recently, when I was invited to the Chanel fashion show in Paris, I thought it would be nice to take her with me…”
“I hadn’t been to a fashion show for ages and I forgot people could rush you. They were so close and I got so full of anxiety, thinking, ‘What am I doing here with my daughter?’ But she was fine. I was the one freaking out. I don’t think I’ll do that again.”

Elle Fanning Stuns at the “Ginger And Rosa” BFI London Film Festival Premiere
Heading off to the UK for the next premiere of their film, the stars of “Ginger & Rosa” hit the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival on Saturday (October 13).
Ready to show off her Oscar-buzzed performance, Elle Fanning looked stunning in a full-length, flower-print dress at her arrival in Leicester Square.
Other stars to hit the red carpet for this event included Alice Englert, Timothy Spall, and the film’s director, Sally Potter.
The flick follows two teenage girls that are living in London, England in the 1960’s, and Potter explained that Elle was an amazing artist for the role.
Speaking to Indie Wire, the director described the then 13-year-old actress, saying, “[Elle] is somebody who is such a serious young artist. So eager and hungry for these kind of subtle nuances of her trade, acting. It was unbelievably wonderful working with her.”

Taylor Swift is Lovely at London BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards
Giving plenty of attention to both photographers and fans alike, Taylor Swift arrived at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in London on Sunday (October 7).
The country crooner was all dolled up in a short white dress with a partially open back, matching heels, and a neat updo as she worked the red carpet like a pro.
Though she looked cool as a cucumber at the event, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter recently revealed some serious stage fright issues. She admitted, “I get pretty nervous. I kind of like go through, you know when you talk to yourself in the mirror? And I’m like, ‘They’re not going to throw things at you, it’s going to be OK, it’s going to be OK.’ It’s not like that, it’s more like, ‘Mmm … it’s going to be OK?”
She explained further, “I don’t get nervous when I’m going on stage and a crowd of people have bought tickets to see me, because I’m like, ‘You guys totally want to be here.’ It’s when I’m not sure if people want me to be on stage.”

Robert Pattinson Wants To Divide Time Between L.A. And London

Robert Pattinson has been looking into renting apartments in Los Angeles as he moves nearer to relocating permanently to the UK, RadarOnline.com exclusively reports.
The Twilight star has checked out high-rises in Westwood and a unit in Century City, tellingly near William Morris – the talent agency that represents him.
Pattinson, 26, is planning to make London his base and use an L.A. apartment whenever he’s in town for meetings.

“Robert knows he’s going to be back and forth from London and Los Angeles, so he needs an apartment here,” a source said.
“Since putting his Los Feliz home on the market, he’s kept himself busy by looking at bachelor apartments near the Beverly Hills office of William Morris.
“He wants to be in close proximity to his agent for meetings – and if he’s in a high-rise, full-service building with a security guard present 24/7 the home will give him all the privacy he needs.

“Robert doesn’t want to cut his ties completely with Los Angeles – he will still spend a few months a year, reading scripts and meeting directors so he doesn’t fall off the radar.
“London will be where he bases himself though and he’s even looking at the possibility of extending his property portfolio with an apartment in New York. He certainly has enough money to buy what he wants,” the source revealed.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, broken-hearted Robert is considering moving back to the UK.

Reaching out for a helping hand, Rihanna was spotted leaving her London hotel on Saturday afternoon (September 1).
The 24-year-old superstar donned a baggy ensemble, but girled it up with a pair of bright, white heels as she headed the English train station where she tweeted, “Last train in dis muhphucka.”

The house which sits “on an acre and a half of land and has a 150-person screening room and amazing gardens,” used to be owned by ER star Noah Wylie, but the Cosmopolis star bought the lavish property in September 2011.
Another source says Rob and Kristen “are talking” and that “Rob doesn’t hate her and he’s not mad . . . He just doesn’t get why she did it. He loves her and thinks about her constantly.”
He’s been putting on a brave front and promoting his projects, but Kristen is “close to a total meltdown,” according to a report. “She isn’t sleeping and she stays up all night crying.”
