Britney Spears ‘Changed’ And Became ‘Depressed’ Following Her Split From Justin Timberlake

On the day that Justin Timberlake married Jessica Biel, an attorney told a jury in a Los Angeles courtroom that Britney Spears “changed” and “became depressed’ after her break-up with the former NYSNC singer in 2003, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
Jamie Spears‘ attorney, Leon Gladstone, told jurors in his opening statement Friday that Brit and Justin “had a big relationship, and it ended painfully. In 2003 her parents noticed that she had changed over the breakup of her and Justin and noticed she was depressed….[Britney] went to Vegas and got married to a childhood friend for 55 hours and they realized that she was becoming distant with her parents and become concerned she was using illegal substances.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Britney’s “former manager,” Sam Lutfi is suing Britney and her parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears for breach of contract, libel and defamation for comments Lynne made in a book about her life. The trial is expected to last nearly three weeks, with Lutfi, Lynne, Jamie and Brit’s fiance, Jason Trawick, all scheduled to testify.
In 2006 everything changed once again for Britney, after Kevin Federline filed for divorce, amid drug abuse allegations, according to Gladstone: “Jamie does an intervention at Britney’s house and she agrees to go to rehab in Antigua, but never checks in…Britney did check into rehab eventually, and checked out after one day.”

Spears finally went to Promises for 30 days, but was very angry with her parents for forcing her to go, according to Gladstone. “Britney was at her most vulnerable when she met Sam Lutfi…Over the next couple of months things just got worse. An acquaintance sent an email to Jamie telling Britney to get away from Sam Lutfi because he will make her kill herself,” the attorney revealed.
Several restraining orders against Lutfi obtained by other people were also shown to the jurors.

On Thursday, Lufti’s attorney, Joe Schleimer described to the jury the run of events that occurred leading up to the X Factor judge’s 51/50 hold in which he says Lutfi called Lynne Spears for help and she refused.
Scheimer alleged that Spears took 30 prescription pills, which resulted in her infamous psych hold.

Schleimer’s argument is that once Lutfi stepped into the picture, Britney began to turn her life around and get her career back on track because Lutfi was afraid that she would overdose under his management and wouldn’t let that happen.
However, the Spears family attorney emphasized on Friday that the cause of Britney’s downward spiral was because of her break-up with Timberlake.

Sharon Osbourne Talks Justin Bieber
She’s never been one to keep her opinions to herself, so when Sharon Osbourne was asked about American pop sensation Justin Bieber, she had plenty to say.
During her interview in Sydney, Australia, the “Talk” cohost expressed concern for the “As Long As You Love Me” singer’s potential for longevity.
Sharon began, “Justin is a really great little guy. But that’s his problem- he’s a little guy. His fans are growing up , they’re 18, 19-year-olds now.”
“They’re young women, and he still looks like that little boy. “He needs some hair, or something… I just don’t think, from my gut — maybe my gut’s wrong because it’s not 100% — but I don’t think he’s going to stand the test of time.”
She added, “But you know what, I don’t feel sorry for him, because he’s made oodles and he’s a fabulously nice person and he’ll go on to do something else.”
In response, Justin tweeted, “Doubt me….I like it. Not worried Sharon.”

Furthering his foray into the acting world, Justin Timberlake is in talks to star in the upcoming dramatic rom-com, “The Last Drop.”
The movie, directed by “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist” director Peter Sollett, follows an alcoholic food critic who decides to change his life in order to win over the love of his life.

Gun-Wielding Justin Bieber’s Magenta Money Pants
First it’s driving troubles, now it’s a photo scandal – as Justin Bieber is feeling the heat thanks to a recently released controversial personal pic.
The 18-year-old Canadian sensation has drawn ire after a snap of himself and his famous girlfriend, Selena Gomez, was posted online this past Thursday showing the couple posing with the “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress’ dad on the set of her new film, “While I’m Dead… Feed the Dog.” Problem is, “role model” Justin just so happened to be holding a gun pointed at his potential father-in-law’s belly.
While the gat-wielding moment was clearly all in jest, Bieber still has faced a barrage of angry comments, with one gossip writer opining, “Justin, whether you like it or not, you’re a role model. And millions of fans, 27 million on Twitter, are following your every move. You have power in this industry, and holding a gun in jest is just plain foolish.”
Even Justin’s fellow Canadians have spoken out, with the Globe and Mail writing, “Guns are on everyone’s mind as a serious crisis in Canada and the United States. Everyone, that is, except maybe Justin Bieber.”
Despite being under fire from the public, the Biebs looked cheerful on Saturday (September 1) as he left a Los Angeles recording studio following a music making session.
The “Never Say Never” star was curiously clad in magenta sweatpants with cash printed on the zipper pockets as he kindly made time for his fans before continuing about with his Labor Day weekend doings..

Justin Bieber’s PDA-Packed “Feed the Dog” Set Visit with Selena Gomez
Making for a welcome moment in an otherwise arduous afternoon, Selena Gomez received a surprise visit from boyfriend Justin Bieber in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (August 29).
The 20-year-old singer/actress was in between shooting scenes for her new movie “While I’m Dead… Feed the Dog” as her “Baby” singing beau emerged into view with the young lovebirds immediately sharing a warm embrace.
Making for quite the loved up scene, a paparazzi source tells GossipCenter, “[Justin and Selena] couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they walked around base camp near the set.”
As for Miss Gomez’s latest theatrical effort, “While I’m Dead..Feed The Dog” is based on Ric Browde‘s 2000 novel of the same name while being described as a “coming-of-age project based on a 16-year-old named Ric Thibault.”
The plot summary from Browde’s penning reads: “While trying to get into the pants of the most beautiful girl in the world, sixteen-year-old Ric Thibault ends up in the back of a limo on the road to rock’n’roll superstardom opening up for Bowie. But on the way there he hits a bump or two – a few dead Mafia hitmen here, a nymphomaniac next door there, not to mention a few dying Latin teachers, narcoleptic nuns, inept policemen, unscrupulous lawyers, buffoon reporters, huckster televangelists and greedy relatives.”
