Elizabeth Olsen Covers ‘Bullett Volume 8 – The Romance Issue’
Bullett Magazine – Volume 8 – The Romance Issue
With her new movie “Liberal Arts” set to hit theaters on September 14th, Elizabeth Olsen snatched up a piece of the spotlight by covering the Fall 2012 issue of Bullett magazine.
The 23-year-old actress looked enchanting in a white Chanel dress with Dior jewelry for the Jeff Bark shot front page with a colorful, artsy spread inside what’s been dubbed by the publication as “Volume 8: The Romance Issue.”
Meanwhile, a few highlights from Miss Olsen’s accompanying interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Bullett!
On her ‘Liberal Arts’ character zibby offering Jesse her virginity:
“Being 35 and taking a girl’s virginity? That’s crazy… If I were an older man and I saw a girl my age, who maybe didn’t know herself that well, I would find her so unappealing, because if you’re in it for sex, the sex won’t be that great. But when I see a woman in her 40s and up, I think, God, you know a lot. One day, I’ll get to be desired like you.”
On her supportive father:
“My dad’s greatest pleasure is watching his kids do what they want to do. Nowadays, he loves going to my sisters’ fashion shows or coming to visit me on set.”
On her thought that being single is necessary to love thyself:
“It’s made me appreciate the things that I need to feel fulfilled. Sometimes, when I’m in a relationship, I get so excited to be around the other person that I forget to indulge the things that I need to be happy on a day-to-day basis. Or at least I did—I’m such a different person now than I was two years ago.”
On working hard to make a name for herself on her own:
“There’s definitely a reason why I went to so many acting conservatories. The more I trained, the less people could say, ‘Oh, she’s just so-and-so’s sister.’ They can still say that, sure—I have no control over that—but at least I know I’ve worked hard. There was definitely a time when I overcompensated, but I’m kind of over that.”
Director Josh Radnor on Elizabeth Olsen:
“You’d be surprised by how many young actors show up not knowing their lines,” he says. “Lizzie isn’t one of them. She puts a lot of thought into her characters, but she doesn’t show her homework.”

Elizabeth Banks & Chris Pine Say “Good Morning America”
Taking care of some promotional duties, Elizabeth Banks and Chris Pine paid a visit to “Good Morning America” in New York City this morning (June 25).
The “Hunger Games” hottie and the “Star Trek” stud were in the house to talk about their new flick “People Like Us,” slated to hit theaters this Friday (June 29).
Elizabeth explained, “They’re both damaged people and ultimately this story is about finding family when you’re older. We don’t know that we sort of belong with each other- we’re connected to each other. He unfortunately lies to me about being my brother for a little bit of the movie.”
“It’s also about family secrets. Our father passes away and it turns out he had this secret family. And it’s about how those secrets work their way through families. And that the damage that they do doesn’t have to affect your future. You can have forgiveness and get past it and come together and that’s what we do in this film,” she added.

Rielle Hunter On Elizabeth Edwards: The ‘Wife As Innocent Victim’ Image Untrue

By Radar Staff
In her new book What Really Happened, Rielle Hunter expresses little remorse about sleeping with a married John Edwards, and dishes out details about what it was like being the other woman pitted against John’s loyal wife of 30 years, the late Elizabeth Edwards.
Excerpts of the tell-all appear in People magazine this week, and it’s clear Rielle feels little guilt about the adultery, insinuating she met the politician at a time his marriage was on the rocks anyway.
“Because there wasn’t any physical or emotional intimacy between Johnny and Elizabeth, I had absolutely no jealous feelings about her,” Rielle writes, adding “the ‘wife as innocent victim’ did not match the reality,” as the pair had a fractured relationship.

Rielle wrote their marriage was “filled with issues that clearly neither Johnny nor Elizabeth wanted to address. They did not want to disclose the truth to themselves, much less the public.”
Rielle reasoned Elizabeth should have been wise to John’s cheating because of her own desolate love life.
“If you aren’t having sex with your partner,” she explains, “chances are high someone else is.”
Rielle said she first met Elizabeth at an event in North Carolina in late 2006, and Elizabeth did not look her in the eye “and appeared to be frightened.
“I felt really bad for her,” she writes.

If you’re looking for sentiments of guilt about the affair, this book isn’t for you.
“I felt miserable for Elizabeth and what she must be experiencing,” she wrote, “but my loyalties were with Johnny.”
Rielle said John told her that Elizabeth repeatedly pressed him about how he could be drawn to someone like her.
“The honest reply, ‘She makes me happy,’ was not received without punishment” from Elizabeth, Rielle writes.
As we previously reported, the book is full of tawdry details about their trysts, as well as the bombshell that John told Rielle he’d hooked up with at least three other women in cities across the country.

Following a bombshell investigation by the National Enquirer, the two-time presidential candidate finally admitted publicly in January 2010 that he’d fathered a daughter out-of-wedlock with his former mistress. Shortly after his admission, John and his late wife Elizabeth legally separated.
Elizabeth died that December after a 6-year battle against breast cancer.
What Really Happened hit stores on June Tuesday, 26; an interview Hunter and Chris Cuomo airs on ABC’s 20/20 Friday at 10/9c.
