It’s been more than a decade since they divorced, but Nicole Kidman still has a few things to say about her ill-fated marriage to Tom Cruise.
The Academy Award winning actress opens up about her relationship with the Top Gun star in the November 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, revealing that she didn’t feel comfortable and stable until after they split in 2001, and RadarOnline.com has the details.

Kidman, who hooked up with Cruise in 1989 on the set of Days of Thunder when she was a virtually unknown actress in the United States, and married him on Christmas Eve 1990, reveals the hardship of her “fame by association” years.
“It was like, ‘I’m here and I’m clutching onto your arm, and it all feels a little overwhelming and really strange,’” she admitted to the fashion magazine.

“And I was shy. Deeply shy. I didn’t feel comfortable at all.”
However, Nicole started feeling solace in her own skin after she and Cruise divorced.

“Having your work be the basis of fame, that’s a far more stable feeling,” she revealed.
After meeting her current husband, Keith Urban, in 2005, Kidman excelled even more, characterizing him as “more like an ocean,” than her ex, as “he took me out.”

“He just gave me confidence,” she gushed about the country singer, “through just being very kind to me and understanding me, opening me up to trying things, my sexuality, those sort of things.”

While Tom is working hard on his next project, the 6-year-old has stayed in New York with her mom, Katie Holmes, recently beginning as a student at The Avenues, a private school in Chelsea, New York.

As a source close to the situation previously told RadarOnline.com, “Suri is used to her dad being away filming and not spending every single day with him. She loves the daddy daughter time they get together.
“She always spent time with him either on set or at home and even on vacation so she’s really adjusted well.”
Tom and Suri have spent time chatting on the video web site Skype, according to reports.

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes Divorce Details Leaked: Marriage Was Over 6 Months Before Split

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ marriage was irretrievably broken six months prior to the former Dawson’s Creek star filing for divorce, according to court papers exclusively obtained by the National Enquirer.
In the legal documents dated August 17, 2012 and signed by New York State Supreme Court Judge Matthew F. Cooper offers details of the divorce decree, including the specifics of the A-list couple’s custody agreement with 6-year-old daughter Suri have emerged.
The “marital relationship” had “broken down irretrievably for a period of at least six months immediately preceding,” the papers state.

Tom, 50, and Katie, 33, tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Italy in 2006. However, the legal documents say they officially married “in a civil ceremony” in Los Angeles on November 11, 2006. A prenuptial agreement was acknowledged and signed by Holmes months earlier.
In terms of child support, Tom was ordered to pay $400,000 a year to cover Suri’s “medical, dental, insurance, unreimbursed medical and dental, education, college, extracurricular and camp expenses.”
The total payments, however, won’t eat into Tom’s estimated $250 million fortune – with experts calculating the expense will cost the Mission: Impossible star $4.8 million in total. He only has to pay child support for the next 12 years until Suri turns 18.

And in the highly unlikely event that Tom skips payment? He will be faced with a jail sentence “for a term not to exceed six months.”

Some people have marveled at how little Tom Cruise has seen beloved daughter, Suri, since he split from Katie Holmes, but RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal he is getting special treatment from the strict heads of Scientology to even have any contact with her.
“They have already bent the rules for Tom,” the former president of the celebrity center, Nancy Many, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. “If Tom was any other Scientologist, including lesser celebrities, he would not be allowed to continue seeing and maintaining communication with Katie or Suri, because they are no longer in Scientology.”
“So far, because of who he is, Cruise has spent time with Suri, which has already upset the parents and children of existing Scientologists who can’t talk to their loved ones. If he is supposed to be a Scientologist, why don’t the rules for every other member apply to him?” she asked.

“When every other person that I have known of leaves Scientology, which Katie did without speaking of it directly, they are instantly shunned,” explained Many. “By rejoining a Catholic Church right afterwards, she made a very public statement of rejection.”
Within hours of leaving the controversial religion, former members are un-friended on Facebook and in all aspects of their lives – that includes by their children, parents, friends, and everyone they know, said the former celebrity president.
Apart from a fun-filled trip to Disneyland last June, The Days Of Thunder actor has spent far less time than usual with Daddy’s little girl over recent months, and even missed her first day of school on September 11 because he was filming in London.

However, Many is surprised that Tom is allowed to see Suri at all. “I understand that Tom was always busy, busy, busy, before the divorce but Katie would fly Suri to him,” so the changes in his marital state could be just as much of a reason for the estrangement as his religious restrictions.
The latest issue of Star magazine revealed that the Mission Impossible actor may even be distancing himself from the church and, according to a insider, “hanging out with good friends who aren’t part of the religion.”

Tom Cruise Denies Reports of Wife Auditions
After reports that Scientology officials auditioned women for him to marry, Tom Cruise has called the allegations “lies.”
A representative for the newly divorced actor says, “‘Lies in a different font are still lies – designed to sell magazines.’
According to Vanity Fair, Scientologists interviewed dozens of women to ensure they posed no threat to the church or the 50-year-old himself.
The report claims that top church official David Miscavige’s wife, Shelly, helmed the project, telling Scientologist actresses they were being considered for a role in a new training video.
After vetting the candidates, Mrs. Miscavige chose Iranian-born Nazanin Boniadi, who was told to break up with her current boyfriend. The plan went as far as flying the British actress to New York for dinner, ice skating, and a night with the “Mission Impossible” star.
Alas, things didn’t go according to plan. The actress made such blunders as not reciprocating Cruise’s romantic displays and being disrespectful to higher ranking Scientologists.
Though Scientology officials vehemently deny the story, “Crash” director Paul Haggis has come forward to support Nazini’s version of events. He says, “Naz was embarrassed by her unwitting involvement in this incident and never wanted it to come out, so I kept silent.”

Paul Haggis, the acclaimed writer/producer/director who left Scientology in 2010 after decades in the controversial organization, has come forward with a strong confirmation of the blockbuster magazine article about how a new wife was recruited for Tom Cruise.
The Oscar-winner pulled no punches in condemning Scientology officials for how they treated actress Nazanin Boniadi after her arranged romance with Cruise failed after three months.

As we reported, in November 2004, devout Scientolgist Boniadi was recruited to audition for what she thought was a Scientology training film. It turned out she was being auditioned to be Tom’s next wife, sources told Vanity Fair magazine’s Maureen Orth.
Boniadi ended up falling for the Mission: Impossible star but after three months he decided she wasn’t the girl for him, Orth writes, so she was sent to a Florida Scientology center where her assignments including cleaning toilets with a toothbrush.

But worse was to come for Boniadi when she confided to a friend how upset she was about her break-up with Tom. That “friend” reported her back to Scientology who accused her of breaking her confidentiality agreement with Tom, and ordered even harsher treatment for the Iranian-born beauty.
The search for a wife then resumed, sources told Orth, with Katie Holmes getting the nod.
“I was deeply disturbed by how the highest ranking members of a church could so easily justify using one of their members; how they so callously punished [Boniadi] and then so effectively silenced her when it was done. It wasn’t just the threats; they actually made her feel ashamed, when all she had been was human and trusting,” Haggis told Showbiz 411.

“I’ve met quite a number of people who have been treated shamefully but are afraid to speak out…Most of the others are just ordinary people…They live in fear of retribution, legal, financial or personal…They fear an incredibly wealthy organization that boasts that it seeks truth, empowers people, brings families together, encourages independent thought and free speech, and champions human rights. I would like to say that i don’t know how its members, many of them good and intelligent people, can remain so purposely blind when they are faced with evidence like this every day, but then I am no one to talk. I was happily blind for many years, so I know the shame that Naz feels.”
Haggis said that Boniadi tried to repair her relationship with Scientology so that she could remain a member, and only resigned two years ago.
Cruise’s rep issued a statement Monday calling the Vanity Fair article a “lie.”
Katie Holmes hasn’t commented.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Vanity Fair’s Maureen Orth has penned a devastating look at how top Scientology officials allegedly went on a hunt for a new wife for Cruise in 2004.

Sources, including former Scientologist Marc Headley, told the award-winning Orth that Iranian-born actress Nazanin Boniadi was selected in November, 2004, but her romance with Cruise only lasted three months before she was shipped off to a Scientology center in Florida.
Orth also writes that the search, which ultimately led to Katie, was headed by the now-missing wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige.

Katie Holmes was not the first of Tom Cruise‘s girlfriends to be recruited by Scientology, an upcoming cover story in Vanity Fair.
None other than Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige, headed up the task of finding Tom an appropriate mate, writes the mag’s award-winning Maureen Orth. Candidates were told they were auditioning for a new training film and were asked a series of questions including “What do you think of Tom Cruise?”
Iranian-born actress and longtime Scientology follower Nazanin Boniadi was the winner in the girlfriend derby, writes Orth, and went on to date Cruise from November, 2004 to January, 2005.

Boniadi had to sign multiple confidentiality agreements and ended up falling head over heels for Cruise. But in short order, he decided she wasn’t up to the task, sources told Orth, and complained to her, “I get more love from an extra than I get from you.”
Boniadi was then subjected to daily sessions — two to three hours each — of purging herself of “negative thoughts about Tom,” reports Orth. “She felt completely shut off; her only source of money was a credit card issued in the name of Cruise’s production company.”

Eventually Boniadi was sent off to a Scientology center in Florida, and the process began again.
In April, 2005, Tom debuted Katie Holmes as his new girlfriend.

The article also claims that Holmes’s pre-nup agreement with Cruise, negotiated by her attorney father, filled five Bankers Boxes, and that one of Martin Holmes’ primary concerns was keeping his daughter out of Scientology.
Reps for Scientology denied just about every major aspect of the article and dismissed Orth’s sources as “disgruntled” former Scientology members.

Shelly Miscavige, the woman who Orth says brought Boniadi and Cruise together and is believed to have engineered his subsequent meeting with Holmes, has been missing since 2007.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Katie Holmes returned to attending Catholic Mass within weeks of filing for divorce from Tom.
She won custody of her daughter Suri and appears to be easily adjusting to life as a single working mom in New York.

One of the main factors during divorce talks between Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise was the Dawson Creek actress’ insistence on a sizable trust fund being set up for their daughter, Suri, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Katie wanted the trust fund put in place for Suri so that their daughter will be able to tap into after she turns eighteen years old,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Katie has absolutely no access to the money and didn’t want to. She just wanted to ensure that Suri would have financial security as she becomes an adult. It’s a sizable trust fund, but Suri won’t be able to fully legally claim it until she is in her 30s. Tom had no problem with the request and planned on doing it for Suri anyway.”

If Katie were ever to decide to auction the handbags off she would get top dollar because she was married to Tom Cruise when she got them. Katie Holmes didn’t get a huge payout from ex-husband Tom Cruise because of an ironclad prenup, but the Dawson’s Creek star will be keeping “millions of dollars in jewelry, designer handbags and other gifts” given to her by the Mission Impossible star during the course of their marriage, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Tom was extremely generous to Katie with lavish gifts during their marriage and she will be keeping millions of dollars of jewelry, Hermes handbags and other luxurious items,” a source tells Radar.
“Tom gave Katie diamond earrings as a birthday gift one year that easily cost over $500k and he had custom design pieces made for her. Under terms of the divorce, Katie is keeping all of the jewelry, handbags, accessories, and designer clothing. What she does with it is up to her. For the time being, the jewels are being kept in a very safe place and knowing Katie, it’s likely she will one day give them to Suri once she is old enough.

“Katie was never with Tom for the money. When it came time for the divorce, she just wanted it to be done quickly and with as little disruption to Suri’s life as possible. Suri has always been Katie’s number one priority and concern. During the divorce settlement talks Katie just wanted to make sure that she and her daughter would be taken care of from a financial standpoint,” the source added.

Is Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman‘s 19-year-old daughter, Isabella, joining the Church if Scientology’s ultra secretive and controversial division, Sea Org?
According to the Village Voice, “Isabella, announced on a private Facebook page this week that her boyfriend Eddie Frencher signed Scientology’s billion-year Sea Org contract about a week ago and is now going through its Estates Project Force boot camp in Los Angeles… Former Sea Org executives tell us that Isabella would be under intense pressure to join the hardcore Scientology organization herself or be forced to give up her relationship with Frencher.”

In 1966, L. Ron Hubbard stepped down as executive director of Scientology to devote himself to research and writing, and went on to form the Sea Organization, an elite group within Scientology that was based on three ships, the Diana, the Athena, and the Apollo. According to reports, Sea Org members routinely work 100 hour weeks, for $50 a week, and have no contact with family or friends outside of the organization.
Reps for Tom Cruise have denied that Isabella is signing up to Sea Org though, stating: “[Isabella is] not a public figure and deserves privacy. However, she is not joining the church’s religious order.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Isabella was unceremoniously fired from her step-mom Katie Holmes’ clothing line, Holmes and Yang, just weeks before Katie filed for divorce from Tom.

Suri Cruise is finally finding out what it’s like to be part of a big family, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The 6-year-old spent last weekend with mom Katie Holmes, 33, in Toledo, Ohio and got to meet all of her cousins for the first time!
It’s Katie’s latest attempt to normalize her spoiled daughter’s life and young Suri took to meeting her extended family like a duck to water.

“The purpose of Katie’s trip with Suri to Ohio was to introduce Suri to all her cousins,” a family insider revealed.
“As the youngest of five, Katie loved growing up in a big family, so she wants exactly the same experience for Suri.
“She worries that Suri doesn’t get enough exposure to kids her own age and Katie wants her to be brought up in a similar environment to which she was raised in.

“Tom was very protective over Suri, and liked to keep her close to him, the Church and his family all the time.
“Now he is out of the picture, Katie decided Suri should meet her eight cousins for the first time in an attempt to give her a normal childhood, away from the glitz and glamor she had become accustomed to.
“It’ll take some getting used to for Suri, because she always gets things her own way. At first, she wasn’t thrilled with the idea of sharing some of her toys with her cousins when they all played together.

“But, soon enough, Suri won them all over with her bubbly personality and they can’t wait to have her visit again.
“They’d only ever seen Suri in magazines and in family photos, so they felt extra special to meet a celebrity their own age,” the insider revealed.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Katie has finally moved her belongings out of the $30 million Beverly Hills home she once shared with Tom.

Her possessions were picked up by a moving and storage truck on Wednesday afternoon, and X-17online managed to get the pictures.
The seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion, which also features a movie theater, tennis court and swimming pool is Tom’s to keep after the pair reached a divorce settlement out of court.
And as RadarOnline.com first reported, Suri will start her first day at school in New York with both her famous parents there in tow to give her a big send off to calm her nerves.
“Tom has been filming his latest movie in London but has made plans to be in New York for Suri’s first day of school, which will be after Labor Day,” a source close to the former couple revealed.
“Tom and Katie have been speaking on the telephone regarding Suri and Katie has been very supportive of Tom wanting to be there when Suri goes to her new school for the first time.”

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning on taking their daughter Suri to school together for her first day in a couple of weeks, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Tom has been filming his latest movie in London but has made plans to be in New York for Suri’s first day of school, which will be after Labor Day,” a source close to the former couple tells Radar. “Tom and Katie have been speaking on the telephone regarding Suri and Katie has been very supportive of Tom wanting to be there when Suri goes to her new school for the first time.

“It’s a big moment in Suri’s life and Katie wants Tom to be a part of that. Of course, there will be security concerns and Tom doesn’t want to disrupt other parents and students at the school with his presence, which means he very well could slip in and out via a back entrance. Katie doesn’t want Suri to suffer because of their divorce and both parents are truly putting the needs of their little girl ahead of their own feelings.”
As we previously reported, Holmes has no regrets about filing for divorce and has been “blissfully happy” since making the life changing decision. “She’s been enjoying the company of her family a lot more, something she couldn’t really do when she was married to Tom. He controlled who she saw and he often wasn’t so approving of her family,” an insider previously told Radar.

“Katie’s desire for Suri to enroll in school was one of the main reasons why she decided to split from Tom. Tom’s two children with Nicole Kidman were home schooled by Scientology tutors and he wanted the same for Suri. Tom doesn’t like it, but he has reluctantly accepted this is the way it’s going to be and will absolutely be a big part of Suri’s life at school. Both Tom and Katie will take part in parent/teacher conferences and other school activities that Suri will become involved in,” the insider says.

John Travolta Says Cruise Ship Sex Assault Claim is a Lie
After a demeaning sex scandal evolved John Travolta recently filed documents pertaining to the allegations that he sexually assaulted Royal Caribbean cruise ship worker Fabian Zanzi.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Zanzi claimed that while giving the “Pulp Fiction” actor a massage back in 2009, he exposed himself and later offered up $12,000 to keep the incident hush hush. In light of the accusations, the 58-year-old star says it’s a lie.
According to TMZ, Travolta’s powerhouse attorney Marty Singer says that the actor admits to being aboard the ship during the alleged incident, but denies all other misconduct.
The Hollywood heavyweight also points out that although Zanzi filed his report back when the alleged situation occurred, he never explained the sexual details.
In the end, John is hoping for the lawsuit to be dismissed and for the masseuse to pay the attorney fees.
