Variety’s 4th Annual Power of Women Event: A Complete Look!
Joining forces for Variety’s 4th Annual Power of Women Event, Hollywood’s A-list stars gathered together at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on Friday (October 5).
Host Maria Menounos joined honorees Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Queen Latifah and Katherine Heigl at the Lifetime Network sponsored event.
Among the other famous females on hand were red hot actresses Ashley Greene and Dania Ramirez, as well as a yummy in yellow Jennifer Love Hewitt, Stacy Keibler, Felicity Huffman, Bailee Madison, Lydua Hearst, Terri Seymour, Anne Heche and “Mission: Impossible” hottie Paula Patton.
And while the afternoon fete was all about the gals of Tinseltown, a handful of Hollywood hunks like Justin Timberlake, Olivier Martinez and Ben Affleck were also on site to support their significant others.
According to the Variety Power of Women’s home page, these actress’ are honored for their “impact on the philanthropic and charitable causes closest to their hearts.”
The goal of the program is to “inspire and encourage people from all walks of life to get involved, give back and make a difference.”

2012 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party: A Complete Look
Each and every year, the who’s who of young Hollywood attends, and on Thursday night (September 27) the 10th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party was nothing short of a star-studded event.
The Emporio Armani sponsored Beverly Hills soiree drew out a long list of lovely young ladies including “Twilight” hottie Nikki Reed, “Pretty Little Liars” actress Lucy Hale, “True Grit” cutie Hailee Steinfeld and “American Idol” alum Pia Toscano.
While Emporio Armani clad Teen Vogue cover girl Victoria Justice helped host the festivities, the night saw Tom Cruise’s son, Connor, manning the deejay booth while GROUPLOVE offered up a performance.
Rounding out this year’s batch of Teen Vogue Young Hollywood partiers were Jessica Lowndes, Debby Ryan, Bella Thorne, Aimee Teegarden, Kiernan Shipka, Leslie Mann, and “Modern Family” actresses Ariel Winter and Sarah Hyland, with the latter spending most of the evening alongside beau Matt Prokop.

2012 Do Something Awards: A Complete Look
Held to recognize the most charitable people, places and events over the past year, the winners of the 2012 Do Something Awards were crowned in Santa Monica, California on Sunday (August 19).
With “New Girl” co-stars Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson and Lamorne Morris tending to hosting duties, big winners brought onstage to receive their silver shoe trophies during the swanky ceremony included Lea Michele and Cory Monteith as Do Something Female and Male TV Stars, Will.i.am as Do Something Music Artist and Hope Solo as Do Something Athlete.

2012 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony: A Complete Look
Making for quite the sight to be seen, the 2012 Olympic Summer Games Opening Ceremony was held in London, England on Friday night (July 27).
Taking place at Olympic Stadium, the kickoff to the event that sees 26 sports contested by 10,500 athletes over 17 days of competition drew out royals including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry, as well as U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama, actress Nicole Kidman and footballer David Beckham – who helmed a speedboat carrying the Olympic flame during the UK festivities.
As for the theme of London’s Opening Ceremony, spectators were treated to a colorful display charting Britain’s history from the start of the modern Games back in 1896 to the present.
With 80,000 people in attendance for the production, director Danny Boyle took on choreographer duties while including segments such as 1,000 drummers marching through a pastoral setting complete with cows, goats and sheep roaming about with farm children.
The complete Opening Ceremony was put together with Boyle trying to remain under his $15 million budget, which falls far below Beijing’s 2008 production that ended up being the most expensive Opening Ceremony ever at a hefty $40 million total cost.
Of his low-cost efforts, Boyle told the AP, “There has to be a modesty. You can’t get grandiose with this job because you are following Beijing.”
