Author Of Anti-Kate Gosselin Book Applauds Her Firing From Coupon Cabin

A day after Kate Gosselin was fired from her blogging job at CouponCabin.com, the author of a controversial ebook slamming the mom of eight has spoken out exclusively to RadarOnline.com applauding the move.
Robert Hoffman, who accused Kate of child abuse in his book Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, told Radar that he is encouraged people are seeing through Kate.

His book was removed by Amazon after a challenge from two powerful law firms, but Hoffman, a pal of Jon Gosselin, has not given up his attempt to have it publicly distributed.
Radar was first to report Kate’s firing and Hoffman issued this statement: “Although I won’t celebrate Kate’s most recent loss of employment from her couponing blog, I am encouraged that more and more people are seeing through her facade and realizing that Kate Gosselin isn’t who she claims to be, and I’m hoping that more people will come forward to speak out about what they know to be the truth about Kate Gosselin’s eight-year web of lies, abuse, greed and manipulation – for the sake of the Gosselin children.”

The author’s words are only slightly more stinging than the statement from Scott Kluth, CEO of CouponCabin. “A series of events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin,” Kluth wrote in a statement posted on his site Tuesday.
And even more vitriolic criticism of Kate is emanating from people leaving comments on the site.

One person wrote: “Thank you for dismissing that odious, grasping, faker. She did nothing but promote herself via your website. Good riddance!”
And that was kind compared to some of the other comments, including this one: “People bash her because she is a lying, mean spirited person that thinks the world owes her everything…Honestly, I can’t figure out why anyone in their right mind would support her.”

Many people said that they had stopped using the site as a result of Kate’s involvement but would now return.
And about his now-unavailable book, Hoffman told Radar: “Regarding the book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, which was pulled from Amazon by Kate’s lawyers, it is currently being edited for re-release and will be available in the very near future. The re-release will include even more proof of Kate’s network of greed and lies.”

EMPIRE OF THE SUN Due as Blu-ray Book on 11/3
Warner Home Video will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Empire of the Sun, the powerful coming-of-age World War II drama, with the debut of a new Blu-ray Book on November 13.
Directed by three-time Oscar® winner Steven Spielberg (Saving Private Ryan 1993 – Directing, Schindler’s List 1993 – Directing and Best Picture) and most recently nominated for War Horse (Best Picture – 2011), Empire of the Sun garnered six Academy Award® nominations (1988) — for Art Direction + Set Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Original Music Score, Costume Design and Sound. Based on J. G. Ballard’s autobiographical novel, Empire of the Sun tells the story of a young English boy, James Graham (Bale), whose privileged life is upturned by the Japanese invasion of Shanghai on December 8, 1941. Separated from his parents, he is eventually captured, and taken to Soo Chow confinement camp, next to a captured Chinese airfield. Amidst the sickness and food shortages in the camp, Jim attempts to reconstruct his former life, all the while bringing spirit and dignity to those around him.

Kate Gosselin is keeping mum about the new tell-all book alleging shocking child abuse claims, which was penned by Jon Gosselin‘s pal.
The mom-of-eight told Katie Couric on Wednesday that she has been told by her lawyers to remain tightlipped about the situation, and RadarOnline.com has a clip of her interview.

As previously reported, the book, written by Jon’s friend Robert Hoffman, has been banned following charges of inappropriately obtained official documents.
Meanwhile, Hoffman told Radar he has in his possession “more explosive” material that he doesn’t plan to publish…unless Kate’s lawyers back off.

While being interviewed on Katie, Kate said when asked about the book: “I’ve honestly been advised not to say anything.
“There will come a time I can talk about it but right now I can’t comment on it. It’s in the hands of my lawyers.”

When asked about all the criticism she got about her parenting skills on her reality show, Kate, 37, said: “I was a different person back then.
“But that show is as real as you’re going to get. I just want to focus on my kids so I don’t get much time to read that stuff. I hate bullies. I was bullied as a kid.

“I think they should use their time and energy to do better in the world, and for their families and their kids.”
Kate, who started to cry at several points during the interview, also confessed she’s not dating anyone – she’s too busy – but that her kids are dying to set her up with someone.

“I don’t have time to date but it comes up at dinner almost every night!” She told Couric. “My daughter said ‘it gets really boring with just you here every night.’
“But I said it’s not something you can just go out and buy in a shop.”

Kate, who has sextuplets aged eight and twins almost 12, also said that a reality dating show could be on the cards for her.
She said: “I think it could be really fun. And honestly, I think I could do it.”

Jon Gosselin secretly gave the author of a controversial new anti-Kate book computer hard drives containing his then-wife’s personal journal and confidential information, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Robert Hoffman’s explosive tell-all book about Kate Gosselin was pulled off sale by Amazon after only two days after two powerhouse law firms alleged Hoffman violated trade secrets and copyright.
Hoffman has maintained he pulled Kate’s computer hard drive out of her trash and that Jon had nothing to do with his action. But now a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that Jon hatched the scheme for his friend to obtain the hard drives!

“Jon made copies of Kate’s hard drive and gave them to Rob as a sort of backup plan in case there was anything he needed in there while they were going through their divorce,” the source claims.
Hoffman maintains he did not get any of the information from Jon, telling Radar: “Regarding Jon, as stated clearly in the book, he had absolutely nothing to do with personally giving me any information whatsoever for the book. You should reach out to him personally to answer any questions about him.”
Rob’s book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, is filled with what appear to be emails from Kate, the Discovery network, contracts and personal documents, many of which Rob reproduced in their entirety. (Radar has independently verified that much of the material is genuine.)

The book also contains allegations that Kate has been violent with her children and allegations that cannot be repeated by Radar because they have not been sufficiently backed up.
Hoffman previously told Radar that he called Child Protective Services on Kate twice and insisted in an email interview that Jon did not help him obtain the computer hard drives.
But now a source close to the situation has stepped forward and tells Radar that Jon was behind the scheme that enabled Hoffman to gain possession of the hard drives.

Rob recently claimed that he has even more damaging information about Kate that he might release.
“The other 90 percent of the material that I possess will not be published, ever, but you can be sure that if I’m falsely accused of anything and drug [sic] into court, or called a liar by Kate Gosselin or her lawyers, this information will come out then, including photographs,” Rob wrote to Radar in an exclusive email interview.
“There is so much more that hasn’t been revealed. I also have physical and photographic evidence to back up my claims in the book.”
Jon has not publicly spoken out at all about Rob’s tell-all book on his estranged ex-wife, and Radar has been unable to reach him for comment.

Amazon has removed from sale a shockingly vitriolic book about Kate Gosselin after legal intervention by two top law firms, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.
Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, an e-book written by Jon Gosselin’s pal Robert Hoffman called Kate “sick” and in desperate need of mental help as Radar reported exclusively.

The book featured allegations so potentially libelous that they cannot be repeated here as they lack adequate substantiation.
Now after only approximately two days on sale, Hoffman’s book is gone, removed by Amazon after the intervention of lawyers from Los Angeles powerhouse firm Lavely & Singer and Washington, D.C.’s respected Williams & Connolly.

Much of Hoffman’s information came from computer hard drives that he claimed he found in Kate’s trash. The book was filled with what appeared to be emails from Kate, the Discovery network, contracts and personal documents, many of which he reproduced in their entirety.
Hoffman described his ongoing friendship with Kate’s ex husband Jon early in the book and bragged he was in possession of 5,000 family photos, personal documents, tax and business records plus contracts from his trash-diving computer find.

“I’ll be sued by one or more parties before this is over,” he wrote in a prediction that hardly elevated him into the class of clairvoyant because of his charges against Kate, some of which appeared to have little or no substantiation.
While the book repeats many well-known anti-Kate stories including her endless quest for freebies, her often nasty disposition and more, Hoffman’s tome is filled with personal attacks that even the large anti-Kate audience may find excessive.

We’re told Amazon notified Hoffman that it removed the book – pending further investigation — after receiving notice that it “may not be properly authorized by the appropriate rights holder.” That notice of infringement came from Lavely & Singer.
Williams & Connolly, representing Discovery Communications, Inc. also apparently sent Hoffman a legal letter informing him that his book contained confidential information protected by law and demanding he “cease and desist from dissemination” of that information.

Hoffman followed Kate daily as a freelance reporter for Us Weekly during the height of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 popularity. In the endless Jon vs. Kate debate he has found some supporters for his book and is now asking online for donations, thanking people who have allegedly offered to help him financially and writing: “I’m overwhelmed and at a loss for words.”
Hoffman posted the notice from Amazon and also the legal letter from Williams & Connolly.

It is not yet clear if Kate or her former network will sue Hoffman. And while he describes himself as Jon’s friend, he gives no indication what Jon thinks of the “book” and why Jon stood by while Kate allegedly committed acts that cannot be republished here.
Jon has not responded to Radar’s requests for comment.

Kate Gosselin ‘Sick’ and ‘Needs Help’ Jon’s Pal Writes In Vitriolic New Book

Kate Gosselin spanks her children, is “sick” and in desperate need of mental help.
Oh, and she also has the audacity to park facing the wrong way near a UPS store.

This is just a partial list of Kate’s alleged sins and transgressions, presented in painful detail by “author” Robert Hoffman in Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, a self-published e-book.
Hoffman is a friend of Kate’s ex husband Jon Gosselin and admits early, “I like Jon Gosselin a lot. I’ve traveled with him and partied with him and have been with him through his highest highs and his lowest lows.”

Hoffman has also been through Jon’s garbage.
And that’s where he claims he found a treasure trove of documents contained on tossed computer equipment, documents including Kate’s journal, numerous emails, contracts, tax returns and more.

During what seems like one bazillion pages, Hoffman may have accomplished the impossible: in trashing Kate every way imaginable he may actually have made her more sympathetic, if only by virtue of the fact that she is a target for his relentless vitriol.
Many of his allegations cannot be repeated here as they lack adequate substantiation and Hoffman writes, “I’ll be sued by one or more parties before this is over.” He then claims: “I’m writing this book for the Gosselin kids,” and relates an anecdote about Collin that not only seems ridiculously thin as justification but quickly evaporates into the endless stream of Kate bashing.

Kate’s greed is chronicled in such painstaking detail that even her biggest detractors will probably feel woozy reading all her emails begging for freebies. Yes, they are outrageous and no doubt great fodder for the continuing Jon vs. Kate debate.
Hoffman delivers lots of mind-numbing details about contracts, vacations, friendships gone bad and Kate’s fake and boorish behavior. He claims to have spoken to hundreds of friends and family members but it is Kate’s discarded computer hard drive that provides the majority of the material in this 38 chapter snoozefest.

What about the rumors of Kate’s closer-than-friends relationship with Steve Neild? Hoffman doesn’t know. But he does gleefully repeat a story about an unnamed man allegedly bragging about a romantic relationship with Kate.
While Jon is busy making one bad decision after another, Hoffman says, “Kate Gosselin continued to prance around like a peacock..with her bodyguards, her handlers, her public relations team, her media trainer, her team of lawyers and her protective network family feeding her a script of talking points for the week – pretending to be mother of the year, fooling millions of people while pursuing her Hollywood lifestyle on the backs of her eight beautiful children.”

And that’s the nicest thing he says about her.
In short, Hoffman’s gripes/allegations/rants cover these topics: Kate is a money-grubbing, freebie-seeking machine; she spanks her children beyond the point that is acceptable; she exploits her children in countless ways; she’s really, really mean and much, much more.

At one point, Hoffman blurts his impressions into one tell-all sentence (partially redacted by Radar to remove libelous material). He writes: “Kate Gosselin washed out of community college after three months and is a gum smack uneducated (redacted) who tells mostly lies and says “um” a lot.”
Um, alrighty then!

To be fair, there are countless examples of Kate’s boorish behavior and the most incendiary allegations that will not be repeated on Radar due to the author’s lack of corroboration. Hoffman “gathered” his information while working as a freelance reporter for Us Weekly but all of his new information is from her discarded hard drive, which offers endless (boring emails) about contracts, trips and more.

Shame on you Kate Gosselin,” he writes in chapter 10.
While Hoffman brags that he now has possession of 5,000 family photos, personal documents, tax and business records plus contracts, he actually takes time to disapprovingly note that Kate has read 50 Shades of Grey.

And yes, he really does go into great detail about how she parks facing the wrong way outside of the UPS store.
