I’m Sorry! Chevy Chase Apologizes For Using The ‘N-Word’ During Rant

By Radar Staff

Chevy Chase has blown his top at work again and this time the TV star dropped a racial slur.

The 69-year-old used the N-word during a rant on the set of the NBC sitcom, Community, according to Deadline.com.

Chase is reportedly getting more frustrated with the lines his character is being given. The actor plays Pierce Hawthorne who is a bigot.

On Friday it all got too much for the actor and, while running through a scene, he snapped and launched into a tirade.

The crux of his rant was that with the way Pierce’s character was being developed, he may be expected to call the black characters Shirley (played by Yvette Nicole Brown) and Troy Barnes (played by Donald Glover) the N-word.

Chase, however, did not direct his comments at his black colleagues that word.

The outburst upset the cast and Chase later apologized.

As RadarOnline.com reported, last year the actor’s feud with TV boss Don Harmon became public when a profanity-laden voice message that he left was leaked.

‘Bully’ Apologizes (Sort Of) To Overweight TV Anchor

By Adam S. LevyRadar Staff Writer

Kenneth Krause, the man who sent an email to a Wisconsin news anchor Jennifer Livingston about her weight — which was met with an emotional on-air response to his e-mail, that went viral — has expressed regret for his communication with the broadcaster.

“If she is offended, I truly apologize to Jennifer,” Krause told ABC News in response to the controversy. “That’s the last thing I ever wanted to do.”

Krause added he “can empathize” with the 37-year-old mother-of-three’s stated thyroid condition, having been “obese as a child” himself.

“I’ve been fighting [to stay fit] all my life.”

Krause said in hindsight, “it’s possible I would revise a few things … I never meant to hurt Jennifer. If she is truly hurt, I do apologize for that.”

Livingston said Wednesday on Good Morning America, “He’s trying to shame me into losing weight — that’s not being helpful — that’s being a bully.”

Krause responded saying he’s “in no position to bully her… she’s a big media personality. I’m just a working stiff.”

As we previously reported, Krause initially told the WKBT-TV anchor that her “physical condition hasn’t improved for many years,” and that she shouldn’t consider herself “a suitable example for this community’s young people, girls in particular.”

In a 4-minute response to the note, Livingston said that “the truth is, I am overweight — you can call me fat — and yes, even obese on a doctor’s chart. But to the person who wrote me that letter, do you think I don’t know that? That your cruel words are pointing out something that I don’t see? You don’t know me. You are not a friend of mine. You are not a part of my family…you know nothing about me but what you see on the outside, and I am much more than a number on a scale.”

After she broadcast Krause’s note, he issued a statement to the station proclaiming, “Given this country’s present epidemic of obesity and the many truly horrible diseases related thereto, and considering Jennifer Livingston’s fortuitous position in the community, I hope she will finally take advantage of a rare and golden opportunity…by transforming herself for all of her viewers to see over the next year.”

Krause, a security guard by trade, added he’d “be absolutely pleased to offer Jennifer any advice or support she would be willing to accept.”

Fox News Apologizes For Airing Man’s Horrifying Suicide On Live TV After Police Car Chase

By Radar Staff

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith made a groveling apology to viewers after a production error allowed a man’s  shocking suicide to be shown on live television.

Viewers were left horrified watching 33-year-old Jodon F. Romero put a gun to his head and pull the trigger after leading police on an hour-long high-speed car chase in Phoenix, Arizona after allegedly stealing the vehicle at gunpoint earlier in the day.

A helicopter, from affiliate KSAZ-TV, was capturing the action on the ground when Romero got out of the car and started to run from the cops.

Gasps could be heard in the Fox News studio when Romero put the gun to his head leading Smith to shout to his director, “Get off, Get off it” in a bid to cut from the live action but it was too late and the man’s suicide was beamed to thousands of TV screens.

Coming back from the ad break taken immediately thereafter, Smith told viewers he thought the chase was on a few seconds delay just in case something bad happened but subsequently realized it was not.

“We really messed up, and we’re all very sorry,” the anchor said contritely. “That didn’t belong on TV. We took every precaution we knew how to take to keep that from being on TV. And I personally apologize to you that that happened.”

The network’s vice president of news editorial, Michael Clemente later said the mistake was “the result of a severe human error.”

Authorities believe Romero was intent on going on a crime spree which started when he hit a passing car with his hand leading the vehicle owner to call police – that’s when they learned the car had been stolen from a nearby restaurant parking lot and started the chase.

Romero had a long criminal history and was a wanted felon, according to Phoenix Police.

Megan Lochte Apologizes For “Racist” 2008 Video

Her brother Ryan Lochte is now one of the most recognized athletes, but now Megan Lochte is the latest member of the family to face the public eye.

Earlier this week, a video surfaced of the comedian from a TV appearance back from 2008, where she used a racial slur multiple times throughout the video causing quite an uproar.

In the clip, the Olympic gold-medalist’s sister is describing her experience in China after the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In light of the negative attention, Megan released a statement, which read, “This was not a real interview, and it in no way reflects my true feelings or persona whatsoever. The intent was to make fun of the ignorance of people who actually do not have an understanding of other cultures and speak in racist ways.”

Apologizing for the ill feelings brought on from the comments, Lochte continued, “I do see how it was highly offensive to the viewer, but as seen by today’s widespread outrage, it clearly did increase awareness of the ignorance of those who are racist. I want to reiterate that this was NOT a real talk show, and I was not expressing my personal views. While the intent of the script was to shed light on cultural ignorance, I realize that in application it did offend people, and for that I apologize.”

Kristen Stewart Apologizes To Robert Pattinson, Doesn’t Mention Director’s Wife

By David PerelExecutive Vice President/Managing Editor Radar

After getting caught in a raunchy clinch with a married man, Kristen Stewart issued a public apology to Robert Pattinson on Wednesday where she called the illicit affair a “momentary indiscretion,” but didn’t say sorry to the woman whose family she shattered.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,”  Stewart said in a statement.

The damage control comments come in light of a published report that claims the 22-year-old actress and 41-year-old Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders could hardly keep their hands off one another as they traveled around Los Angeles together on July 17, and a series of photos confirms the affair, showing them in a number of romantic embraces — or compromising positions, depending on how you look at it.

While Stewart apologized to her Twilight boyfriend of three years, there was no mention of Sanders’ wife, Liberty Ross, with whom the director has two children. The 33-year-old stunning brunette reportedly went on a Twitter rant when she was blindsided with the bad news, before closing her account with a succinct, “WOW.”

Following Kristen’s statement, Sanders issued a similar apology of his own in which he told People: “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family.

“My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Kristen is “filled with regret” about the cheating scandal that could rip apart both relationships after she was busted in way-more-than-friends embraces with Sanders and were snapped embracing outdoors, getting very, very close in a car and described as kissing passionately.

“Kristen regrets the whole thing,” a source told Radar. “She just did a stupid thing.”

Does this mean it’s over for Stewart and Pattinson?

Not so fast, says the source. “She wants to make it work. She’s trying to put this in the past and move on with her life.”

Five days after the shocking photos with Sanders were snapped, Stewart was with Pattinson at the Teen Choice awards, and while they were acting like nothing happened – behind the scenes major drama was playing out.

Stewart had become aware that she was photographed in intimate situations with Sanders and the pictures and information were going to be released in just a matter of days, Radar learned, but her team was powerless to stop the report and publication of the photos, so she prepared herself for the worst.

On Tuesday night, a preliminary account of the affair leaked, with a sympathetic angle toward Kristen. Sources would not confirm to Radar if the actress’s team was behind the report, trying to do damage control in advance, but by Wednesday morning all the details were public.

Now Stewart faces the daunting task of trying to keep it together with Pattinson and hoping her public image isn’t tarnished by an indiscretion with a married man.

Brandi Glanville Apologizes For Shocking Joke About Young Man’s Suicide

By Radar Staff

She’s no stranger to controversy, but Brandi Glanville went too far when she tweeted a ‘joke’ about a young man who committed suicide over the weekend.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote the shocking message on Sunday after the 29-year-old threw himself off the seventh floor of the parking structure at The Grove mall in Hollywood.

PHOTOS: Real Housewives Show Off Their Hot Bikini Bodies!

Eddie Cibrian’s ex was on her way to watch the movie Magic Mike at the upscale complex and wrote: “Some dumbsh*t just jumped off the 2nd story(sic) of the Grove parking structure. If you’re going to try and ruin my movie at least go to the top floor.”

As well as leaving a family devastated, the gruesome incident was also witnessed by many people, including young children, who were left understandably horrified and distraught.

When the reality star realized that the man had died, she removed the tweet, but not before it was captured by Weho Confidential.

She later released an apology: “Oh man the guy at the grove that jumped didn’t make it. I feel bad, it’s awful, condolences to his family. I wish I hadn’t joked about it.”

She was of course criticized, one follower wrote: “You don’t give hope to those who are bullied and feel depressed who take their lives. Try and have a heart and care.”

Brandi fired back: “It was an inappropriate joke, peeps at theater said he was fine, didn’t have all the info, although suicide is a very selfish thing.

“He is selfish. We were told he was fine. Unfollow me and stop cyber bullying.”
