Animated Feature Entries Due for 2012 Oscar Race, November 1
To qualify in the Animated Feature Film category for the 85th Academy Awards, filmmakers must submit entry forms and supporting materials to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences by 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, November 1.

Bar Refaeli: 2012 Angel Ball Beauty!
Bringing her gorgeous looks to the red carpet, Bar Refaeli attended The Angel Ball 2012 in New York City on Monday evening (October 22).
The 27-year-old Israeli supermodel lit up the Cipriani Wall Street venue as she roamed the swanky grounds while mingling with fellow charitable celebs.
Tweeting about the good time, Miss Refaeli enthusiastically wrote, “At the Angel Ball, such a beautiful evening, beautiful people and an amazing cause! Show your support! “
Hosted by Denise Rich, the Angel Ball supports the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research while boasting performances from Natalie Cole and DJ Cassidy.

Relationship With LeAnn Rimes Remains Rocky As Ever, Says Brandi Glanville

Brandi Glanville’s stormy relationship with her ex-husband’s new wife LeAnn Rimes is as sour as ever, she has revealed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and singer Rimes have been at war ever since Brandi’s ex hubby Eddie Cibrian had an affair with, then later married, the country singer – but lately the pair has been trying to get along for the sake of Brandi’s two young sons.

Speaking about the shaky relationship she has with Rimes, Brandi told OKmagazine.com, “Right now it’s not amazing. I’m just saying… and I’ll leave it at that!”
And as RadarOnline.com previously reported, despite the two women apparently hanging out at soccer games together Brandi also sparked a fresh fight recently with a snarky Tweet…clearly aimed at Rimes’ recent stint in treatment.

Early in October Brandi Tweeted this thinly disguised slur: “Call me CRAZY but I don’t think ‘Twee-hab’ worked! Xxxb.”
Rimes, 30, recently booked a month in a treatment center for “stress” and “anxiety” issues after claiming she was being relentlessly bullied online.

However Brandi, 39, later defended the Tweet and claimed it was just a joke.
“Well if you put it on paper and you type it out… it’s not funny but I’m hoping in person it’s funny,” she said.

“I’m constantly going back and explaining what I meant or what I said or that I’m just joking.”
Former model Brandi is currently writing a book about relationships and break-ups…based on her divorce from Cibrian 39, whom she has two boys with, Mason, 9, and Jake, 5.

Brandi explained, “It’s hopefully an empowering book for women and men about breakups and kind of showing them the way not to go. I did some really messed up things.

Emmy Rossum Joins Hilary Swank in YOU’RE NOT YOU
SHAMLESS’ Emmy Rossum is in talks to join Oscar-winner Hilary Swank in the drama, YOU’RE NOT YOU, The Hollywood Reporter announced tonight.
Swank’s and 2S Films’ Molly Smith are set to produce with Denise DiNovi and Alison Greenspan. Shana Fest and Jordan Roberts wrote the script.
Based off of Michelle Wildgen’s novel, YOU’RE NOT YOU focuses on a self-absored college student who takes a part-time position carrying for a woman with Lou Gehrig’s disease – which ends up changing her life.
Rossum currently stars in Showtime’s SHAMELESS, and has previously been seen in the movie adaptation of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. She also starred in the remake of THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE.

Victoria Beckham is ’70s Chic in the Big Apple
Looking like she came straight out of the ’70s, Victoria Beckham left Industria Studios in New York City on Monday (October 22).
The former Spice Girl donned a silky floral shirt, high-waisted flared blue jeans, and big sunglasses as she exited the building.
Americans may be seeing less of the 38-year-old fashion designer in the future, as she’s reportedly preparing to move her family back to the UK.
According to a Hello! magazine source, “Proximity to great schools is the number one priority. They have already made provisional enquiries at the top London academies, such as Haberdashers’ Aske’s. They still own Beckingham Palace in Hertfordshire, but may well opt for something a bit closer to London, given that Victoria will have to commute most days.”
However, the celebrity-crazed London media is one reason to be careful about the move back. The insider continued, “Privacy is their other big concern. They are pretty much left alone in LA, and wouldn’t want their family to move back if they were going to be harassed 24/7, so the property search will focus on secluded homes with excellent security.”

Appearances Can Be Deceptive! Emily Maynard & Jef Holm NOT Back Together, No Plans To Reconcile

Despite being pictured together over the weekend, The Bachelorette‘s Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are still definitely broken up and have no plans of a reconciliation, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Emily and Jeff are definitely over and have absolutely no plans to get back together,” a source close to the situation tells Radar. “They are trying to remain amicable though and he was getting his things ready to pack up and leave North Carolina over the weekend when they were photographed together. Jef will be headed back to Utah in the next several days. They are extremely saddened that the relationship didn’t work out but truly are hopeful they can be friends. Jef just wasn’t ready to be a dad to Ricki and didn’t realize the commitment that would be required of him by having this little girl in his life.”

As previously reported, Maynard is prepared to hand over her stunning 2.5-carat emerald cut diamond stunner surrounded by 87 smaller diamonds to celebrity jeweler, Neil Lane, as soon as she can get back to Los Angeles, which will most likely be within the week.
This is the second engagement ring that the North Carolina native has been forced to forfeit. She returned her $50,000 3-carat token of love from Brad Womack back in May 2011 after The Bachelor couple called off their engagement. Emily got engaged to Womack during her first foray into reality TV, but that relationship quickly fizzled and now that things with Jef are over she is single once again and back on the market.

Meanwhile, producers of The Bachelorette are eager to have Maynard come back for a third stint.
“Emily is going through all the offers she is getting right now, including a potential reality show about her life as a single mom looking for love,” the insider says. “Emily is very media savvy and loves being in the limelight. She has no plans on retreating back to a life without fame and celebrity.”
