Twilight star Robert Pattinson has revealed he has a particularly spiritual ambition for the future.

“I definitely want to record an album, direct a film and start my own religion,” the British actor has told the German edition of Glamour.

Clearly in a playful mood, he spoke of the benefits of being your own guru, one of them being the tax breaks. “Well, I definitely wouldn’t have to pay taxes any more,” he said.

He also responded to suggestions that the book Stephanie Meyer books on which the hit films are based contains Mormon teachings the London Evening Standard reports.

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has confirmed he is single. The British actor, who plays billionaire playboy Chuck Bass in the hit show, is in Australia promoting Virgin Mobile.

Speaking on Sydney radio station Nova, the 23-year-old spoke about the “Heartbreak Hotel” tattoo he has above his heart.

“I think I worked there first – office romance or whatever,” he said. “There’s a vacancy and it’s a clean hotel.”

Westwick and his co-star Jessica Szohr split in April, but there had been speculation the couple had reunited.

Back in May 2007, he told the Washington Post that after hearing his old friend director David Yates (who he had worked with before) had been selected to helm Order of the Phoenix:

Fast forward three years, and Nighy has just completed filming his role as Rufus Scrimgeour – the Minister of Magic with possible ulterior motives – in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Adrien Brody and Mad Men star January Jones are an item, according to reports, and the Oscar-winner “loves” talking about her.

“We’re dating. We’re really happy!’” Brody, 37, reportedly told an insider.

The source also told Us magazine: “Adrien loves talking about January.”

Jones, 32, has previously been linked to Ashton Kutcher, Jeremy Piven and Josh Groban.

She and Brody, who won an an Academy Award for best actor after starring in The Pianist (2002), have been seen together at New York’s Rose Bar.

Madonna says her teenage daughter Lourdes Leon has a keener eye for fashion than she does.

The pop star has talked up her daughter Lourdes Leon’s sense of style declaring the 13-year-old is “much more fashion-forward and savvy than I am at this point”.

Mother and daughter are set to debut their young women’s clothing collection, Material Girl, for Macy’s on August 3. Pieces designed by the pair include a sleeveless biker vest, plaid shirts, floral miniskirts, and high-waist shorts, People reports.

Lourdes has also recently turned fashion blogger, sharing her thoughts on her favourite looks and trends.

But yesterday I wanted to really introduce them.”

The meeting went well as “Rocky was licking Mason in the face, and Kourtney was mad at me,” Kardashian admits. However, she adds, “I was like, ‘No, they need to meet!’ It was really funny. And Rocky did calm down after a little bit.”

Veteran talk show host Larry King and his wife Shawn are doing well, says King’s mother-in-law.

“Shawn’s great, Larry’s great. They’re fine,” Geraldine Engemann told Radar Online.

King announced on Tuesday his intention to retire from the eponymous CNN show he has hosted for 25 years.

“I talked to the guys here at CNN and I told them I would like to end Larry King Live, the nightly show, this fall and CNN has graciously accepted, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids’ little league games,” the 76-year-old said.
